Strolling over the favourite part of life !!

Hello my dear readers,

Thought of catching you up so soon that I couldn't resist myself from sharing this one with you !

The other day, had a get-together with the school friends over again. Whenever we huddle up, more often than sharing all our fresh life-goings, all we do is laugh ! Just laughing, laughing and laughing for no reason. But this insanity is sectionalized to girls only. The lunatic ladies !!!
And that one day turns out to be the ecstatic one birthing an inner yearn to be with them more and even more !!

School was never less than home for us. Aside from all the achievements one earns from a residential school system, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas contributes furthermore. Being a Navodayan is our self-esteem for life.
And the best part from my school life was the 'migration life'( As I had already mentioned about the migration policy of JNVs in one of my by gone posts, further illustration will bore you). The one whole academic year at JNV Gonda(Uttar Pradesh) is one of the ever best memory of my life till date. We had a totally different kind of life there enjoying freedom to the fullest of being the craziest ones. Most of our doings out there cannot be disclosed even after years. Even though we were sure our doings outraged our own dignity, we never compromised for 'an obedient us'.
And today I will share a hilarious happening from my migration life.

This is an episode from our tour days over there. It was a three-four days trip to Agra and Delhi. Some of our parents, two teachers and a female staff companion accompanied 19 of us in a reserved mini bus. By then, we were not matured enough to travel ourselves or I bet the crew would had constrained to 19 of us only and we have had much more fun than we actually had with all of them. Agra was our first destination and the morning freshening up was from JNV Agra. I remember the migration girls over there from JNV Kottayam who helped us in all the chores. But the breakfast we had that morning was heart-breaking one. Out of glee, empty stomachs were taken along with us thereafter till the noon meal which occurred nearly in the evening.

Anyway the excitement of witnessing the Taj Mahal for the first time overrode the hunger. It was less than a two hour journey. One could see Taj erstwhile from a far view, on your way itself, covered with white snow. The far view seems more beautiful in the early morning snow and all you could see is the monument but nothing else. Within no time we reached the gate part from where you don't have a view of it. The crowd over there seemed to be telling that , ' Oh my dear children, you are not gonna see the World Wonder today. Better head home' !!! Hence the immatured us are not dutied to care for the complications regarding the permissions, entries etc and etc, we still don't know how that soon we went inside the so called entry or  part of Taj superseding such a huge crowd and queue. And there is a main gate just near to the lawn in-front of Taj. The view of Taj is only possible once this gate is open. And this was one of the 'heart-beat-skipped' moment of my life. The very first view of Taj Mahal. I never trusted all those General Knowledge books saying Taj Mahal is higher than Qutab Minar but it was much big in real and brought a scar in my trust though! The gate went open and we stood witnessing the White Wonder of the world. It was really wonderful !!!

Then we had to queue for more than an hour to get inside it. The queue from the lawn area went a round and then through the steps to get upon it and it went one more round which then directly took us inside the door. And yeah, we were in the last round of queue. There were policemen in each corners and in such a crowd they couldn't concentrate on any other matters but only managing the visitors and trying to get them inside peacefully. All the cops seemed to be North Indians because all were shouting loudly in 'pakka' Hindi language. Well, because both the states(Kerala and UP) had linguistic differences, there was none other than us speaking Malayalam language in the school compound as well as mostly in the outer compound too. So that our language can be used in any situations without any restrictions. We can even blame people facing them by faking a smile. This of course was an advantage for us. Thank God Hindi is our official language so that vice-versa happening will never help them. So in the queue, all of us were not in one after other sequence but scattered here and there. And so all of us planned to gather after getting down of Taj.

The cops were out of their minds tired of being settling people and shouted at all of us over there. We were not at all pleased with them and kept on murmuring each other about their rudeness. And then two of my friends who were together in the queue were enjoying each other's company talking absolutely rubbish and laughing at everything and nothing. A cop was noticing them for long witnessing their nonsense. They really got angry on the cop for watching over them. And then they started talking about him each other in Malayalam assuring there is none around who can understand the language other than them.

"Why this man is staring at us? It had been long. Look at his eyes. He has such big eyes. Dare looking one more minute we are gonna strike those big eyes" and the murmurs went on. It was so loud that he too can hear but can't understand.

 Finally the queue took us inside Taj where we saw the tomb of queen Mumtaz. She slept silently there. We could only spend just minutes inside it and came out soon. They had to encounter the same cop then, this time much near to them. As the queue moved further and when both approached near him, something strange happened. The cop who used to rudely stare at them, now gifted a smile. Both of my friends were puzzled by this. They questioned the smile and searched for reasons behind it. And the cop with the same smile leaned near them and asked;

"Taj Mahal okke kand kazjhinjo??" (Have you watched Taj)

Yeah, it was in Malayalam!! To the ever worst luck, he was a Malayali, who accepted all the murmurs and confined the answer to it in a beautiful smile.
Should I explain the situation of my friends??? Both stood frozen, eyes almost pushed out of the holes and shivering a bit. Both shook their head as an answer and silently walked away from him, still frozen !!!!

Oh my God, our stomach ached laughing to this  when they told us about it later. We still discusses the same thing each other during our get-togethers and all.
Such a hilarious experience !!
Why do a Malayali cop works in Agra?? Why can't he work in Kerala?? He speaks such a 'pakka' Hindi that none will doubt him for a Malayali.

My dear friends, never judge people by their looks. They are gonna sue you in amusing ways like these !!!

And our journey thereafter was quite awesome. Here is a picture of Taj Mahal which some among us took that day.

And I keeps our pictures too. But I really dare posting those because all of us looks terrible in it.

Hence that was the funniest part of the trip. The life over there was full of happenings like these or a way another related to this type. That was our lovely days for life. Today, here we stand cherishing it after all these long 6 years but still as the best moments !!!

See you soon with something other.

-infinite love-
