Some Story will do !!!

Hello readers,

All the support and love clouded me with happiness. And now something interesting is gonna rain for you !!!

It was some three months back, me with two of my friends were busy discussing future which had been a usual scenario since we had entered our last semester of graduation. Still we are continuing it, but the only difference is our finger tips are doing the job now rather than our tongues. And then, one of them mentioned about a story writing competition which her sister had told her. By the way her sister was my senior at school too. After further searches, calls and texts, it was cleared that the competition is conducted by Mathrubhumi.

In the past February, the Kanakakunnu palace in Thiruvananthapuram hosted the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters(mbifl 2k18) with a pure aim of nourishing literature by bringing some great minds, ideas and thoughts together. They invited stories in Malayalam language offering cash prizes. The only rule was that authors should be of age group 18-30.

Since I had one more decade to exceed the mentioned age group, there was less chances of doubting the acceptance of my story. Meanwhile my short story too listed in the inbox of Mathrubhumi. I remember me along with my friend wandering around to make it all ready before sending it (typing it in some format etc). And she fell asleep while the story was typed by the person where i went to do it so. Well, she sleeps anywhere she goes though keeping a 'wherever it is, i am sleepy' attitude. I thank her for siding me for that whole day.

So now, I want all my dear readers to go through my story and here it is. Since it is limited to the only ones who know to read Malayalam language, I am sorry others who don't come under that category. Check out the link provided below:

That was all about the story. Hope I was able to coddle all the story lovers' mood with this.

Anyway the other part of the happening is, when the results were out, my story was not at all taken into consideration. The first, second and third prizes were bagged by men only. And non called it men empowerment though !!!
I came to know the results only after three days of its publishing. The videos of congratulating the winners brought an urge in my mind to read their stories but I didn't get it till date.

So my dear Mathrubhumi, see, I had found another way to consolidate my effort. I am not that less cooler, okay???

And here, I am expecting feedback from my readers.

Promising to see you soon !!!

 -infinite love-
